A Hauntingly Enchanted Evening is a unique, multifaceted event set in the late 1800's that combines a traditional lantern tour, haunted theater w/supernatural tales, period tavern entertainment and interactive elements.
The Lantern Tour and Woods Walk is a sophisticated and intimate event. Our focus is on our guests. We strive to produce the best show possible by limiting group size. Best Described as "Interactive Halloween Theater", our guests are guided through a series of vignettes that recap a story of recent events and culminates with an excursion into the haunted woods.
Located in historic Coventry CT, AHEE documents an odd, fictitious 19th century New England community that's attempting to deal with an unfortunate string of events. At the center of the hysteria is the Strong Family whose residence has served as the gathering point for the annual Fall Harvest Celebration. However; the past few years have proven that there is little to celebrate and much to fear.
Production is ramping up for the 2011 Season and will be our most ambitious undertaking to date. The Lantern Tour has grown wildly in popularity and as a result, was extended to four evenings. The additional nights enable us to put more effort into the event and therefore, provide more value to our guests. However, the event requires the help of many volunteers
Accordingly, we are in search of volunteers and sponsors for October 2011. If you are interested in sponsoring and/or volunteering for the 2011 event please contact us gravesidemanor@sbcglobal.net As a volunteer, you will become a part of a fun group of people that produces an event that benefits the local community. We are in search of general event assistance and particularly interested in stage actors and artists contributions.
